Yanmar ViO55 Angle Blade (LOA-YAN Angle Blade)
Yanmar has released an Angle Blade Option for the ViO55 compact excavator. We have incorporated several improvements in our angle blade compared to the other compact excavator angle blades available. The following features will save valuable time on the job which will increase the contractor's bottom line. - Built solidly to handle the construction environment
Yanmar utilizes solid steel blade arm construction rather than lighter box beam blade arms seen in many other manufacturers excavators. Our thick alloy steel arm construction design is similar to large wheel loaders lift arms. Lift and Angle Cylinders mounted with the rod protected from rocks and dirt to prevent damge and extend life.
 - Float postition standard with angle blade
Yanmar's angle blade is designed with hydraulic blade float function as standard equipment. When the operator pushes the blade control lever beyond the lowering postition and into detent, the hydraulic float function is activated. The float position allows the blade flexibility to follow the ground coutour especially when used for finishing work after backfilling.
 - Angle switch on blade lever so angle adjustment can be done simultaneously with lift or lower
The switch that controls the blade angle cylinder is mounted on top of the blade control lever. The angle activation is electric over hydraulic and utilizes its own control valve rather than using a diverter valve on the same circuit as the blade lift as is common on other manufacturer's machines. With separate hydraulic circuits, the operator can simultaneously operate both the height of the blade as well as the angle for continuous fine tuning.
 - Optional Blade Extension:
- Extends the width of the blade so the tracks of the machine do not immediately run over the dirt spoils
- When filling a trench, they allow the excavator tracks to be further away from the trench wall
- The moldboard extensions, extend past the edge of the track when the blade is angled so the blade will scrape up next to a wall or jobsite obstruction without the tracks rubbing against the wall.
- The extensions outside edges are angled to efficiently work right up next to a wall or jobsite obstruction
