Scaffold Orientation - $65.00

This program is designed to orient the worker to the "Code of Safe Practices" developed for the industry by the Scaffold and Access Industry Association, Inc. (SAIA). The class is intended to address some of the many practices and conditions encountered in the use of steel frame scaffolding.
The orientation will cover:

Guidelines for Erection and Use of Scaffolds

Additional Guidelines to Follow When Dismantling Scaffolding
Upon completion of the class, the worker will be able to identify different types of scaffolding and the hazards associated in the workplace.
A certificate of "Scaffold Orientation" will be issued.
Telehandlers - $125.00

This program is designed to train the operator in the proper use of a Telehandler (Reach-Forklift). All operators of Telehandlers must be familiar with the controls and trained in the safe and proper use of the equipment.
The class will feature both classroom and hands-on training to certify the operator on particular models. After passing the exam, a wallet card is given out to each trainee for his or her records. The card is valid for 3-years from the date issued and meets both OSHA regulations and ANSI/SIA standards. This school does not qualify anyone to teach operator safety classes. The class is for operators only.

AWP's are the only pieces of construction equipment where the operator could be an electrician, painter, insulator, plumber, carpenter or some other tradesman. These people must be trained in the safe and proper operation of this equipment.
The classroom section of this training includes a PowerPoint presentation along with a video on both boom and scissor lifts. After passing a written test and hands-on practical, the student will be issued a card valid for 3-years that meets both OSHA regulations and ANSI/SIA standards. The class does not qualify anyone to teach operator safety classes. It is for operators only.
